The first co-branded auction between Wright and Rago, Masterworks of American Craft was a new auction venue which celebrated the finest work from American makers. From George Ohr to Wendell Castle, this sale featured over 100 years of extraordinary craftsmanship of American creative production. Premier works by George Nakashima, Paul Evans and John Risley were featured alongside significant and unique sculptures by Robert Arneson, Harry Bertoia, Viola Frey, and Peter Voulkos.The commitment to showcasing the impeccable craftsmanship in this sale extended to every detail, including the careful selection of typography. The Grand Slang typeface, skillfully designed by Nikolas Wrobel, emerged as the perfect complement to the auction's identity. Drawing inspiration from mid-century American calligraphy, this distinct typeface seamlessly merged grotesque and serif letterforms, harmoniously blending tradition and modernity. The sleek aesthetic of the catalog was enhanced by the inclusion of scholarly texts, artist quotes, and alluring details, creating a captivating visual narrative that transcended the mere listing of lots.

Wright presented one of the largest collections of Memphis pieces at auction. Meticulously researched, this extraordinary collection served as a testament to the profound influence and enduring legacy of the revolutionary Memphis movement. 
To complement this remarkable assemblage, a digital presentation was meticulously crafted, featuring a dedicated website that showcased highlighted lots within the sale, delved into the captivating history of the Memphis movement, offered insightful quotes and more. Additionally, engaging social media posts were strategically deployed to generate excitement and anticipation for the auction. Inspired by the movement's bold patterns and vibrant colors, this presentation aimed to reignite appreciation for the groundbreaking vision and artistry of Memphis.

	Objet, an online auction, showcased a diverse selection of exquisite craftsmanship and rare works from around the world. Inspired by Renaissance still-life paintings, I art directed a series of captivating promotional photos that showcased vibrant colors and textures. By fusing classic and contemporary elements, the campaign aimed to elevate appreciation for fine art and craftsmanship, captivating collectors and enthusiasts. Each photograph offers a glimpse into a realm where beauty and mastery converged to create true treasures of art.

Paul Rand: The Art of Design

Few artists can revolutionize an approach to an art form, but Paul Rand did just that when he began designing graphics in the 1930s. From his early advertisements to iconic logos, Rand produced a graphic design style that would inspire and influence the postwar design ideology. Wright presented over 300 works at auction from Paul Rand’s collection ranging from never before seen paintings and graphics to his personal collection of fine art and design that served as inspiration throughout his pioneering career.
It was a rare and unbelievably amazing opportunity to work with the personal belongings of one of my design heroes. It provided insight into how he viewed the things around him as well as his designs.&#38;nbsp;

Dieter Rams is one of the most influential industrial designers of the 20th century, known for his dedication to precise and orderly design. His design ethos was one of radical functionality and simplicity. Rams's user-friendly approach and minimalist aesthetic continues to influence designers today and he has had an immeasurable impact on the visual language of everyday objects.
When Wright presented Dieter Rams at auction it was an online-only sale that featured over 130 works by the influential designer and his colleagues. Animated styleshots were used to promote the auction and demonstrate the functionality and timelessness of Ram’s designs while an information page featured Rams’s most iconic products and his famous ten principles for good design.

Jim Walrod was an avid collector of post modern and contemporary art. Nicknamed ‘Furniture Pimp’ by Mike D of the Beastie Boys, clients worldwide—from David Bowie to André Balasz—sought his unparalleled expertise. Although Jim saw his role as a guide, aiding clients in finding their own distinct eye, it was his unique vision that shaped so many others.Embracing the unconventional and weird, this catalog breaks free from the practical and often impersonal approach to modern design. Full of item pairings that spark exciting new dialogues, bold colors indicative of the PoMo movement, and random facts about design which Jim was notorious for whipping out mid-conversation. It is a true celebration of a man who collected everything and knew 
just as much.
